Robert Croft

Played over 400 games for Glamorgan, taking more than 1100 wickets.

Robert Croft captained Glamorgan County Cricket Club from 2003 to 2006, leading the team to significant successes. Under his leadership, Glamorgan claimed the One-Day League title in 2004 and earned promotion to Division One of the County Championship in the same year. Known for his leadership by example, Robert excelled both on and off the field, amassing 1,451 runs and taking 122 wickets across two Championship campaigns.

Robert made his England debut in 1996 against Pakistan and represented his country in 21 Test matches and 50 One-Day Internationals. His skill as an all-rounder and his commitment to the game earned him a respected place in English cricket.

Today, Robert remains actively involved in cricket, still playing for Glamorgan while also working as a broadcaster for Sky Sports. Additionally, he is a popular figure on the after-dinner speaking circuit, sharing fascinating stories from his illustrious career with humour and insight.
