More about

Kim Hughes

A gifted and stylish right-hand middle-order batsman, Kim was known for his attractive and fluent batting. Although his cricket career was occasionally overshadowed by disagreements with key figures such as Dennis Lillee and Rod Marsh, he remained a highly talented player.

Kim’s tenure as Australia’s captain was challenging, partly due to a series of away tours—only seven of his 28 Tests as captain were played in Australia. He also led an Australian team in transition, rebuilding after the departures of senior players like Dennis Lillee, Rod Marsh, and Greg Chappell.

When in the UK, Kim is available for after-dinner speaking engagements, where he shares captivating stories from his cricketing career and his leadership experiences.
