More about

Graham Roberts

During his time at Tottenham, Graham played a pivotal role in the club’s early 1980s success, winning two FA Cups and the UEFA Cup in 1984. He notably scored in the second leg of the UEFA Cup final against Anderlecht and later converted his penalty in the shootout as Spurs claimed victory.

In 1986, Graham moved to Rangers for £450,000, where he enjoyed a successful stint, winning the Scottish Premier League in his first full season and the Scottish League Cup a year later.

Graham joined Chelsea in August 1988 for £475,000, helping the club secure the Second Division championship in the 1988–89 season. He then moved to West Bromwich Albion, where he played for the remainder of his professional career and earned six international caps for England.

In June 2005, Graham took on a new challenge as manager of Clyde, where he had just three players under contract. Through open trials and his vision for the team, he led Clyde to their greatest triumph in years by defeating Celtic in the Scottish Cup in January 2006. Earlier in the season, his side took Rangers to extra time at Ibrox Stadium in the Scottish League Cup.

Graham has also coached both the Pakistan and Nepal national football teams, continuing his influence on the international stage.
