Graham Price is a true rugby icon, widely regarded as one of the greatest props to ever grace the game. Earning 41 caps for Wales from 1975, Graham made an unforgettable impact, scoring a try against France that was recently voted as the 5th best try ever scored by a Welsh player. Throughout his career, he played in two Grand Slam victories and won four consecutive Triple Crowns, solidifying his legacy as a stalwart of Welsh rugby.

Part of the legendary Pontypool Front Row, alongside Bobby Windsor and Charlie Faulkner, Graham became part of rugby folklore. Known as ‘The Viet Gwent’, a nickname given by Max Boyce, the trio were feared across the world.
Graham also made history with the British Lions, earning 12 Test caps on tours to New Zealand and South Africa, making him the most-capped Welsh player in Lions history. He ranks third in the all-time Lions cap list, a record for a prop forward. Recognised for his exceptional skill and leadership, Graham was selected by Bill McLaren and Fran Cotton as a member of their ‘Greatest Ever World XV’ and in 2013 was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame.
In recognition of his extraordinary career, Graham was awarded the MBE in 2007 for services to rugby. Off the pitch, Graham has been a passionate advocate for rugby development, serving as a Welsh Ambassador for LV= SOSKITAID, supporting underprivileged youth in emerging nations.
