Alex is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of his generation. His early career began with Millwall and Chelsea, but it was at Old Trafford under the legendary management of Matt Busby that he truly made his mark.

A key member of Manchester United’s historic 1968 European Cup-winning team, Alex is remembered for a memorable save from the great Eusebio, which played a significant role in United securing victory.
During his time at Manchester United, Alex made 535 appearances, kept 175 clean sheets, and famously scored two penalties in 1973.
In 1978, Alex left the club to join the Dallas Tornado in the North American Soccer League.
Today, Alex is a well-known speaker, regularly appearing at sporting dinners to share stories from his illustrious career in football.
